Liz Earle Sheer Skin

I'm not easily impressed when it comes to foundations and tinted moisturisers. Many of them I find too heavy, chalky or odd shades. However, now Liz Earle (one of my favourite brands) has created a Sheer skin tint which I absolutely love. It contains the right amount of coverage for a natural finish and gives a glowing boost to the skin. There are presently only three shades but I'm sure they'll add to the collection eventually. Tops Tips

I love big mascara wands but they're not ideal for reaching the roots or inner lashes. After several coats of mascara, I use a small brush (Mac Mascara fan brush 205 is great) dip it in the mascara and then use this to coat the roots and smaller lashes.

To help keep your eyeshadow in place use an eye primer first. I like to use laura mercier. Wait for it to dry then add a dusting of transulcent powder and you have a perfect base to help you blend your eye shadow neatly.

Cotton buds are another essential. Tip end buds can be used to create a perfect line and point when using your liquid liner and great for erasing mistakes around the lip line.

If you have any eyeshadow debris under your eye a great tip is to cover your cotton bud in your concealer and use this to pick up the fallen product. It is great if you have already done your base and dont want to start wiping it away with make-up remover.

To prevent eyeshadow from falling under your eye and creating black circles, hold a tissue beneth the eye whilst applying your make-up to keep it clean.
